MG Motor partners Reliance Jio for new mobility solutions in its upcoming SUV

Jio and MG Motor will partner to enable the upcoming MG car to connect to high-speed internet in remote areas.

MG Motor India Reliance Jio announced Tuesday that it had partnered with the company in the Internet of Things space. The association will enable improved mobility solutions for the upcoming mid-sized SUV.

MG plans to soon drive the ZS SUV’s non-electric version. This partnership could also benefit the vehicle from Jio India. Jio’s 4G network could provide high-speed connectivity in cars to customers of the MG SUV, even in remote areas of the country. Jio’s connected vehicle solution, which combines hardware, software, and connectivity will allow users to access current infotainment as well as real-time telematics while on the move.
